The Dork of All Trades Podcast is a weekly nerd/geek culture show. Two best friends bring an expert guest on to talk about a new topic each week. We drink, a lot, and talk about the things you love. So give us a listen!
John: One of your hosts, Johnny is a podcast whore. He has listened to over one hundred different podcasts since he discovered them in 2009. Currently he listens to around 40+ regular podcasts weekly. John dislikes music, (except for the stuff he grew up listening to; i.e. Classic Rock and Metal). Johnny’s fandoms include (but are not limited to…) Doctor Who, Soccer, Dragon Ball Z, the Legend of Zelda, Alcohol, Anime, Cosplay, and Stand-Up Comedy. Johnny recently graduated Temple University with a degree in Marketing.

Tim: Hey internet! My name is Tim and I am one of the hosts of this awesome show. I’m here to tell you a few things about myself to give you the listener some insight. Quite like the title of the show I am a jack of all trades and a master of none. I don’t know everything but I would like to, whether it’s about comics, movies/TV, music, and sports. I was introduced to the world of podcast through my best friend and partner in crime John. I’m not a student in school but wish to get back soon. My occupation is literally like the Monty Python song “I’m a lumberjack and I’m okay, I sleep all night and work all day” ( I cut down trees). I hope you all enjoy the show as much as we enjoy making it. It’s a lot of fun to sit down with your friends and talk about the things you love. I leave you with the quote from Stan Lee, “Excelsior!”

The Guest Hosts: (Not all, but some)
Brandon: A wise poet once said that the key to happiness is find what you love most and do it! Now I have no idea if this is true or not however there is one thing I am sure of folks: if you can’t take even just a second of your time to enjoy yourself, then what’s the point of this whole big charade? That being said, I, Brandon, am one of the guest hosts of this awesome and entertaining podcast. My interests include Philadelphia sports teams (Eagles, Phillies, and the Philadelphia Union are my top 3), Disney movies/trivia (CHALLENGE ME IF YOU DARE!), swimming (competitive USA and Olympic swimming…not just going back and forth in a pool), Marvel & D.C. Universe story lines & comics, Lord of the Rings, Dragon Ball Z, Teen Wolf, early colonial history, and also politics. I’m really glad to be a part of this podcast with my incredible friends…now sit back, relax, and hope you enjoy!!!!!

Matt: My friends call me Seebz, and I’m one of DOAT’s guest hosts. What else can be said about me other than the fact that I am a dork of all trades. I love it all, comics, video games, cars, music, movies and football. Ever since I started watching the famous video game commentator PewDiePie, I have always wanted to review and discuss video games or basically anything that interests me. I am so thankful for the opportunity that John and Tim have given me to do just that.

Ray: Hi there! I’m Ray Schumacher. You’ve heard my sultry voice and experienced my rapier wit as a guest on the DOAT podcast, and hopefully learned a little bit about me in the process… but what you might not know is that I’m from a little town, just outside of Northeast Philadelphia and I’m a recent graduate of Penn State, working full-time. Typically, I can be found listening to Rock ‘n’ Roll music, playing around with LEGO, rooting for my beloved Philadelphia sports teams, drinking delicious craft beer, nerding out about the most recent comic book movie news and/or spending time with my dear friends. I’m just your average, soulless Ginger-kid, living in an adult’s body, and I absolutely love listening to and being a part of this podcast. It’s a break in the monotony of everyday life. It’s a shoulder to lean on when the man has brought you down. It’s a warm blanket on a cold night. It’s nostalgia at its best, and I don’t know what I’d do without it. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Cheers!

John (our host) met Johnny Sander (singer of Taking The Chance) at his first job at a gas station in 2007, from the get-go Mr. Sander has been a talented musician. Sander was one of John’s friends at the gas station after bonding over Blink 182. check the link above to find the song and more of their music on Youtube. Better Off was the intro and outro theme song for the first 60 episodes of the Dork of All Trades Podcast. Special Thanks to Taking the Chance for this sweet sound.
Duane Williams & Montago Bradley: About My Business
The Fans on Patrol Podcast guys are very talented musicians in their own right. They created this song, which became the intro and outro for episode 62 onward, specifically for the Dork of All Trades. This song was carefully engineered to blend with our podcast style, and it sounds fucking awesome! Thanks again Montago, Duane, and everybody over at Fans On Patrol.
